摘要： A belt strap (30) is provided having a non-circular opening (311) formed through one end portion thereof and a plurality of apertures (321) formed through and spaced along the other end portion thereof. A belt fastener is provided including an adornment assembly (10) for mounting from the outer side of the belt strap (30) about the opening (311) therethrough and a belt length adjusting assembly (20) for mounting on the inner side of the belt strap (30) about the opening (311) formed therethrough. One of the assemblies includes a projection (12) snugly received through the opening (311) and the other assembly includes a threaded shank (24) threadedly engaged in a threaded bore (121) formed in the projection (12) and the two assemblies define abutment surfaces between which portions of the belt strap (30) disposed about the opening (311) are received. The adornment assembly (10) includes an adornment (11) facing outwardly of the outer side of the belt (30) and the belt length adjusting assembly (20) includes a smooth shank (22) facing outwardly of the inner side of the belt (30), which smooth shank is selectively receivable in the apertures (321) formed in the other belt end portion.
