    • Disclosed is a gas barrier film exhibiting excellent oxygen and water vapor blocking performance, while having resistance to heat sterilization treatments such as a boiling/retorting treatment. A gas barrier film as a first embodiment of the present invention is characterized by having a structure wherein a deposition layer of an inorganic compound is formed on one side of a base film, a gas barrier layer of a polyepoxy cured product having a skeleton represented by the formula (1) below is formed on the deposition layer, and an overcoat layer made of at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polyepoxy resins, polyester resins and polyacrylic resins is formed on the gas barrier layer. A gas barrier film as a second embodiment of the present invention is characterized by having a structure wherein a deposition layer of an inorganic compound is formed on one side of a base film, a gas barrier layer of a polyurethane resin is formed on the deposition layer, and an overcoat layer made of a polyester resin and/or a polyacrylic resin is formed on the gas barrier layer.

    • A back-protective sheet for a solar cell module, characterized in that: the sheet comprises a polyolefin-based resin three-layered film composed of layers (A), (B) and (C), a plastic film and an ultraviolet absorbing layer which are laminated in this order; said layer (A) comprises a resin composition obtained by mixing a polyethylene-based resin with a polypropylene-based resin; the layer (B) comprises a polypropylene-based resin composition that contains white fine particles; and the layer (C) comprises a polypropylene-based resin composition. The back-protective sheet has excellent heat resistance and hiding power, so that when thermocompression-bonded in a lamination step, the film is not so thinned by an influence of an edge of a photovoltaic device or a wiring member as to make the photovoltaic device or the wiring member visible through the sheet. Further, the back-protective sheet exhibits excellent voltage endurance characteristics by virtue of little deformation in processing, and is little deteriorated by an influence of ultraviolet light.

    • This invention provides a backside protective sheet for a solar battery module. The protective sheet is formed of a laminated material comprising an alumina vapor-deposited polyester film, a white polyester film, and a polyester film, of which the tensile elongation can be maintained at not less than 60% in both machine direction and transverse direction of the film as measured after storage for 10 hr in such a state that the film is exposed to a high pressure steam of 140°C, stacked in that order on top of each other and the shrinkage upon heat treatment at 150°C for 30 min is not more than 0.5% in both machine direction and transverse direction. The backside protective sheet for a solar battery module has no significant moisture absorption-derived lowering in power generating properties of the module, can effectively reflect incident light for reutilization, and can enhance power conversion efficiency of the solar battery.
