摘要： A method and system for anonymous data collection is provided. The method involves assigning, by a first entity, an operator match ID to a client device associated with a user; receiving, by a second entity, demographic information associated with the operator match ID, the demographic information pertaining to the user; sending, by the first entity, an encrypted operator match ID to the client device that has been encrypted under an encryption key; sending client device usage information with the encrypted operator match ID by the client device to the second entity through an anonymous channel, preventing the second entity from identifying the client device; decrypting, by the second entity, the encrypted operator match ID using a decryption key associated with the encryption key, to obtain the operator match ID; and correlating, by the second entity, the demographic information with the client device usage information based on the operator match ID.
