摘要： The invention relates to an MPEG video recording medium and a reproduction apparatus for the reconstruction of missing data sequences of a video data stream. Scratches and other defects of the recording medium cause interruptions or disturbances in the data stream read from the recording medium, which can be corrected only to a limited extent by conventional error correction methods, such as the Reed-Solomon Code, for example. Therefore, an MPEG video recording medium is provided on which, with respect to an original I frame (I1), at least one copy or a similar I frame (I1*) is recorded on the recording medium for the reconstruction of missing or erroneous data sequences of a video data stream. The replacement I frames (I1*, ...) are arranged in the outer area, intermittently or within a predetermined area in the program area on the recording medium and do not influence the reproduction of the recording medium on conventional reproduction apparatuses. In a reproduction apparatus for the reconstruction of missing or erroneous data sequences of a video data stream from an MPEG video recording medium, provision is made of error detection means for determining the sector address of a missing or erroneous I frame (I1, ...), which are used to start a search for a copy or a similar I frame (I1*, ...) on the recording medium, and provision is made of control means by which a missing or erroneous I frame (I1) in the original data stream is replaced by the copy or the similar I frame (I1*) for the reconstruction of missing or erroneous data sequences of the video data stream and is reproduced by a video decoder.

摘要： Known methods for generating super-resolved images from single input images have various disadvantages. An improved method for generating a super-resolved image from a single low-resolution input image comprises up-scaling the input image to generate an initial version of the super-resolved image, searching, for each patch of the low-resolution input image, similar low-resolution patches in first search windows within down-sampled versions of the input image, and determining, in less down-sampled versions of the input image, high-resolution patches that correspond to the similar low-resolution patches. The determined high-resolution patches are cropped, a second search window is determined in the initial version of the super-resolved image, and a best-matching position for each cropped high-resolution patch is searched within the second search window. Finally, each cropped high-resolution patch is added to the super-resolved image at its respective best-matching position.

These methods are generically referred to as example-based super-resolution or single-image super-resolution. The method for super-resolving a single image comprises three stages. First, an interpolation-based up-scaling of the input image is performed, followed by an equivalent low-pass filtering operation on the low- resolution image. The second stage comprises a search for low-frequency matches between an inspected patch in the high-resolution image and patches in a local neighborhood in the low-resolution low-frequency image, including partly overlapping patches, and accumulating the high-frequency contribution obtained from the low-resolution image. 摘要： A description is given of a method for choosing a reference information item in a television signal, which can be employed in particular for calling up an Internet and/or email address with a television set.A television signal comprises a video signal and a supplementary signal, the reference information item being contained in the supplementary signal. According to the invention, the reference information item is assigned to a sub-area of the picture content of the video signal, the reference information item being chosen by selecting the assigned sub-area and a reproduction of assigned information being enabled. The supplementary signal contains contour information items which are assigned to the sub-area of the picture content and represent an approximation of the outer contour of the sub-area. The supplementary signal is preferably situated in the vertical blanking interval in the case of an analogue television signal and in the so-called user data in the case of a digital television signal.
