The method further comprises blending the edges of the at least one of the cooling slots. The method further comprises polishing the edges of the at least one of the cooling slots. The method further comprises peening the edges of the at least one of the cooling slots. The method further comprises coating the edges and adjacent surfaces of at least one of the cooling slots.
