摘要： A method for selecting carrier aggregation (CA) configurations includes determining whether a first wireless device is operating or expected to operate using a single carrier configuration on a cell associated with a first frequency band. If the first wireless device is not operating or expected to operate using a single carrier configuration on a cell associated with a first frequency band, a first CA configuration is selected for a second wireless device. If the first wireless device is operating or expected to operate using a single carrier configuration on a cell associated with a first frequency band, a second CA configuration that is more restrictive than the first CA configuration is selected for the second wireless device. An identifier of the selected one of the first CA configuration or the second configuration is transmitted to the second wireless device.

摘要： A UE indicates its radio access capabilities to the base station. An element is added to the radio access capabilities reported by the UE, to indicate in a release-independent manner if a certain network signaling parameter (e.g., NS-value) has been modified or if a new parameter has been introduced for an operating band. In this manner, the base station can distinguish UE with a modified NS-value behavior from legacy UE for the purpose of admission control, imposing scheduling or handover restrictions, or the like.

摘要： Methods and arrangements are presented wherein a user equipment (UE) supporting a first frequency band HB is enabled to communicate with a network utilizing a second frequency band. The second frequency band is a sub-band of the first frequency band or overlaps with the first frequency band. The UE, which supports the first frequency band, implements the channel numbering scheme of the second frequency band SB which overlaps with the first frequency band HB. This enables the UE supporting the first frequency band HB to recognize the second frequency band SB and communicate with the network when the UE is camped or connected to a cell operating in the second frequency band SB.

摘要： According to one aspect, the present invention advantageously provides a method and apparatus that increase communications throughput by manipulating the order or manner in which CQI values are reported in a multi-rank CQI report that constrains one or more such values according to reporting order. As a non-limiting example, the present invention provides that the reporting order used for reporting multiple CQI values is chosen to eliminate or at least reduce under-reporting and over-reporting errors arising from the use of differential reporting formats for one or more of the reported CQI values. Additionally, the present invention provides for selection between single-rank or multi-rank CQI reporting, based on determining which one corresponds to the highest channel capacity, in view of the differential reporting constraints.

摘要： The present invention relates to exchanging a cell-specific parameter such as the A-MPR, comprising information related to a required additional maximum power reduction of a UE transmitter between networks nodes. The networks nodes may be radio base stations or other network nodes such as radio network controllers or core network nodes exemplified by access gateways (aGWs). By exchanging this cell-specific parameter with information of the required additional maximum power reduction between the network nodes, the cell-specific parameter is provided to the radio base station of the serving cell which implies that the serving cell can send the cell-specific parameter of the target cell to the UE prior to the handover from the serving cell to the target cell. This result in that the UE can start transmission to the target cell with the correct cell-specific parameter and the out-of-band emission requirements can be fulfilled in the target cell.
