[Solution] A heat-shrinkable polyester film characterized by satisfying the following requirements (1) to (5): (1) a hot-water heat shrinkage rate in a width direction of the film is 40% or more and 80% or less by immersing the film in hot-water at 90°C for 10 seconds; (2) a hot-water heat shrinkage rate in a longitudinal direction of the film is -5% or more and 10% or less by immersing the film in hot-water at 90°C for 10 seconds; (3) a maximum peak height Sp on at least one surface of the film is 0.8 µm or more and 3.0 µm or less; (4) an arithmetical mean height Sa on at least one surface of the film is 0.03 µm or more and 0.2 µm or less, and; (5) a degassing time for removing air from between the two identical polyester films is 14 seconds or less, wherein the films are formed by stacking a front surface of the one film on a back surface of the other film.

(2) the copolymerized polyester raw material comprises a constituent unit derived from diethylene glycol by 7 mol% or more and 15 mol% or less in the total amount of glycol component 100 mol% in the total polyester resin component,
(3) the copolymerized polyester raw material has an intrinsic viscosity of 0.60 dl/g or more and less than 0.70 dl/g, and
(4) the copolymerized polyester raw material has a glass transition temperature of 60°C or higher and 70°C or lower.

摘要： The present invention provides a label which is excellent in crack resistance during transport even if the label is a small thickness.
The label of the present invention satisfies the following requirements (1) to (6):
(1) the label comprises a base film having a thickness of 8 µm or more and 30 µm or less:
(2) a polyester constituting the label has an intrinsic viscosity of 0.58 dl/g or more:
(3) the label has a tensile elongation at break of 5% or more in both a main shrinkage direction of the label and a direction orthogonal to the main shrinkage direction of the label:
(4) when an absorbancy at 1340 cm -1 and an absorbancy at 1410 cm -1 are measured for the base film constituting the label by a polarized ATR method, a difference between an absorbancy ratio (absorbancy at 1340 cm -1 / absorbancy at 1410 cm -1 ) in the main shrinkage direction of the label and an absorbancy ratio (absorbancy at 1340 cm -1 / absorbancy at 1410 cm -1 ) in the direction orthogonal to the main shrinkage direction of the label is 0.2 or more:
(5) when a reversible heat capacity curve is measured for the base film constituting the label with a temperature modulated differential scanning calorimeter, the base film constituting the label has a difference in specific heat capacity ΔCp between at a lower and a higher temperature than Tg of 0.2 J/(g•°C) or more: and
(6) the label has a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of a length in a vertical direction of the label of 3 mm or less.

摘要： A heat-shrinkable polyester film is obtained which is extremely satisfactory in openability along a perforation, has exceedingly high productivity, and is less apt to split in the lengthwise direction in processing, e.g., printing. Provided is a label which is formed from the heat-shrinkable film and is satisfactorily tearable. The label is one formed from a tubular material which comprises as a base a heat-shrinkable film thermally shrinking mainly in the film width direction and which has been cut according to an object to be packaged, both edges in the film width direction having been bonded to each other. The tubular material has been thermally shrunk to constitute the label, with which at least part of the periphery of the object to be packaged is covered. The label has an angle tear strength in the direction perpendicular to the main shrinkage direction (i.e., in the film length direction) of 100-310 N/mm and a tensile break strength in the direction perpendicular to the main shrinkage direction (i.e., in the film length direction) of 50-300 MPa.
