摘要： The present invention relates to a biocidal composition including 25 to 50% by weight of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT), 30 to 70% by weight of monoethylene glycol and further ingredients, where the individual ingredients of the composition add up to 100% by weight. The biocidal composition is characterized in that 0.5 to 1.1 mol of K+ ions are present per 1 mole of BIT in the biocidal composition. The invention further relates to the use of the biocidal composition preservative for protecting water-containing industrial products from attack and/or destruction by microorganisms.
