    • A control valve (1) includes a shaft (68) driven in a direction of an axis line to transmit a driving force of a solenoid (3) to a valve element (24), and a vibration absorbing member (100) having viscoelasticity and being set between a shaft support member (72) and the shaft (68). During stationary control of a valve opening degree, the vibration absorbing member (100) dynamically deforms following vibration of the shaft (68) accompanying PWM control. A material and a structure of the vibration absorbing member (100) are set such that, during the stationary control, a vibration amplitude of the shaft (68) is included in a range in which the vibration absorbing member (100) and the shaft (68) are not caused to slide relative to each other.

    • A control valve (1) includes a solenoid (3) whose conduction state is controlled by the PWM technique. The solenoid (3) includes a bobbin (56), an electromagnetic coil (58) wound around the bobbin (56), a core (50) provided coaxially with the bobbin (56), a plunger (54) disposed opposite to the core (50) in a direction of axis line inside the bobbin (56), a yoke, provided in such a manner as to surround the electromagnetic coil as well as the core (50) and the plunger (54), the yoke forming a magnet circuit when the electromagnetic coil electrically conducts, and an asymmetrical structure by which the balance of the magnetic attractive force radially acting on the plunger (54) is biased toward one side, the asymmetrical structure including a structural portion asymmetric with respect to the axis line of the bobbin (56).
