摘要： A glass material of the invention contains SiO2, MgO, Al2O3 and TiO2 as its main ingredients, SiO2 amounting to 40 to 65 percent by weight, MgO amounting to 9 to 30 percent by weight, Al2O3 amounting to 8 to 31 percent by weight, TiO2 amounting to 6 to 15 percent by weight, satisfies a formula (I): {100 - (A+S+T)} /S » 0.340, (where A designates percent of Al2O3 by weight, S designates percent of SiO2 by weight, and T designates percent of TiO2 by weight) and a formula (II): (S+M) /4 > 100 - (S+M+A+T) (where M designates percent of MgO by weight), does not substantially contain fluorine, and is used for manufacture of a substitution material of living tissue or a teeth-straightening material. A substitution material of living tissue and a teeth-straightening material, which are less liable to deteriorate in material property under inferior surroundings such as that in an oral cavity, are complicated in shape like a dental crown repairing material, and need high strength and aesthetic sense, can be safely manufactured in a short time without the use of any special device.
