Said tyre is characterised in that, viewed in meridian cross-section, at least the sidewall (107) extending the first bead comprises a reinforcing profiled section (114) having, viewed in cross-section, substantially a crescent shape; one of the surfaces inner or outer of the profiled section (114) matches the profile of the carcass reinforcement ; the trace of the surface of the profiled section on the side opposite the surface of said profiled section nearest to the carcass reinforcement has only one curvature direction.
