    • The invention relates to an electric heating device (1) for emitting a heated air flow, in particular for heating a washroom in a railway vehicle, comprising: an air channel (2), a fan (3) for generating the air flow; a heating element (4) for heating the air flow; and a first overtemperature switch (8), wherein the first overtemperature switch (8) is designed to reversibly switch off the heating element (4) when a first overtemperature is exceeded; as well as a second overtemperature switch (10) that is designed to irreversibly switch off the heating element (4) when a second overtemperature is exceeded. According to the invention, a depression is formed on the air channel (2), the second overtemperature switch (10) is arranged in the depression, and the second overtemperature switch (10) has a disconnect switch that can be thermally triggered for switching off the heating element (4), wherein the thermally triggerable disconnect switch can be triggered by a glass bead that breaks when the second overtemperature is exceeded.
