摘要： An article transport apparatus comprises a first conveyor 11 having a plurality of transport paths extending forward, a delivery device 10 for forwardly discharging articles C from a front end of each transport path of the first conveyor 11, and a second conveyor 12 having a transport path so disposed as to receive the articles C discharged by the delivery device 10 and extending in a direction orthogonal to the transport paths of the first conveyor 11. The second conveyor 12 comprises a fixed slide plate 13 extending along the transport path thereof, and pusher members 15 so disposed as to be movable above the slide plate 13 at a constant speed. A third conveyor continuously drivable in the same direction as the direction of movement of the pusher members is disposed along the front edge of the slide plate 15. A guide rail 18 extends obliquely across the slide plate 13 thereabove so as to be positioned downstream with respect to the direction of movement of the pusher members as the rail extends forward.

摘要： An apparatus for use with a web (W) having printed thereon bar codes (B) each identifying a container manufacturer, product, etc. and arranged longitudinally of the web at a spacing corresponding to one container, for positioning each of the bar codes in a specified position (23). The positioning apparatus comprises a feeder (16) drivable by a main shaft (22) for transporting the web via the specified position, a detector for detecting (24) the angle of rotation of the main shaft upon the bar code moving past the specified position, and a calculating unit (32-35) for calculating the deviation of the angle detected by the detector from a predetermined reference angle and determining as an amount of transport by the feeder a set value corresponding to the calculated deviation based on a predetermined relationship between deviations and set values.

摘要： A heat-sealing device for liquid-filled tubes has a pair of openable pressing members 23, 24. One of the pressing members, 23, is provided in a pressing face 31 thereof with upper and lower two pressing pads 34, 35 extending in parallel to each other for pressing the tube T along and at respective opposite sides of each of the portions to be cut. The other pressing member 24 is provided in a pressing face 36 thereof with a U-shaped high-frequency coil 38 having upper and lower two straight portions 42, 43 extending in parallel to each other for heating the tube T along and at the respective sides of each portion to be cut. The pressing face 36 of the other pressing member 24 has upper and lower sealer portions 44, 45 each divided into a primary sealing portion 51, secondary sealing portion 52 and tertiary sealing portion 53. When the pressing members 23, 24 are closed, the primary sealing portions 51, 51 are parallel to the forward end faces of the pressing pads 34, 35 respectively, and the secondary sealing portions 52, 52 are so inclined as to gradually recede from the forward end faces of the respective pads 34, 35 as the sealing portions 52 extend outward.
