    • Disclosed are a backlight unit and light guide of a display apparatus and a display apparatus having the same, the backlight unit including: a light source unit which is disposed on at least one of edges of a display panel; and a light guide plate which is disposed at rear of the display panel so as to transmit light radiated from the light source unit to the display panel and including a lower side formed with a plurality of distributed unit patterns reflecting the radiated light and an upper side transmitting the light reflected by the unit pattern(s) engraved into the lower side and reflecting the radiated light to the upper side.

    • A display panel and a display apparatus having the same are provided. The display panel includes a liquid crystal layer (500) and comprises first and second substrates (100,200) which are disposed opposite to each other; a color filter polarizing layer (300) which formed on one surface between the first and second substrates, and which includes a first metal linear grid (310) arranged at different pitches to emit a first polarized component of incident light with different colors; and a polarizing layer (600) which includes a second metal linear grid (610) formed on an opposite surface to the surface between the first and second substrates, wherein a metal material contained in the first metal linear grid is different from a metal material contained in the second metal linear grid. The provided display panel and display apparatus including the same, have decreased manufacturing costs and a simplified manufacturing process.
