摘要： A display panel provided with light from a backlight unit, the display panel including: an upper substrate; a lower substrate disposed to face the upper substrate; a liquid crystal layer disposed between the upper substrate and the lower substrate; a lower polarizing layer formed on one surface of the lower substrate and polarizing-filtering the light from the backlight unit; an upper polarizing layer formed on one surface of the upper substrate and polarizing-filtering the light passing through the liquid crystal layer; and a color filter layer formed on one surface of the lower substrate and the upper substrate and filtering light so that lights of a plurality of preset colors are emitted, wherein each of the lower polarizing layer, the upper polarizing layer, and the color filter layer comprises a linear pattern.

摘要： A display panel of a display apparatus including the display panel and a backlight unit configured to provide light to the display panel, the display panel including: an upper substrate; a lower substrate; a liquid crystal layer between the upper substrate and the lower substrate; a wire grid polarizer (WGP) provided on at least one from among the lower substrate and the upper substrate and configured to filter light radiated from the backlight unit; and an antireflection layer provided on the upper substrate and configured to substantially prevent reflection of external light from an external source on a surface of the upper substrate. The WGP may include a light absorption layer configured to absorb the external light which passes through the antireflection layer.
