摘要： Among pickup image data items of multiple frames picked up at different time instants, an image of a certain frame is regarded as a synthesizing base image. The synthesizing base image and an image of another frame are used to perform synthesizing processing. Specifically, an object-of-synthesis area is designated in the frame image regarded as the synthesizing base image, and processing of replacing pixel data in the object-of-synthesis area with pixel data in another frame is carried out. For example, if a person having his/her eyes closed appears in the synthesizing base image that is a group-photograph image, the part of the person's face is regarded as the object-of-synthesis area. As another frame, an image in which the person has his/her eyes left open is searched. Pixel data in the facial image part showing the open eyes is fetched and synthesized with the synthesizing base image. Thus, a group photograph in which all people have their eyes left open is produced.

摘要： A replacement area is set within an image expressed with captured image data. A pixel area with image content that can be processed without greatly altering the entire image content, for instance, may be designated as the replacement area.
Replacement image data are generated by executing processing for replacing all of or part of the pixel data in the replacement area with insertion image data. The insertion image data are image data containing text, graphics or the like, such as an advertisement, a message or a translation. Consequently, various types of information can be provided in the replacement image data, a message from the user can be incorporated in the replacement image data, or better user convenience can be assured through the replacement image data.

If the kind of the communication is infrared, in S18, a power-limiting signal is transmitted to a target electronic apparatus via infrared communication. If the kind of the communication is not infrared, in S19, Bluetooth communication is performed. The power-limiting signal causes transition to a low power consumption mode.

摘要： If a user specifies a location on a map image, he or she can see an image shot at that location. An imaging apparatus (an imaging/display apparatus 1 or an imaging apparatus 30) placed on a movable body transmits shot image data to a server apparatus together with additional data that includes location information about a photographing point, so that they are stored in the server apparatus. That is, the server apparatus accumulates pieces of image data obtained by photographing in various places by a great number of imaging apparatuses together with the location information thereof. A user of the display apparatus (the imaging/display apparatus 1 or the display apparatus 40) specifies a location on the map image. Then, the display apparatus transmits location specification information to the server apparatus, and the server apparatus searches for the image data based on the location specification information, and transmits the image data corresponding to the location specification information to the display apparatus. The display apparatus receives and displays the image data.

摘要： The present invention provides a display apparatus and a display method for realizing control for display operations by a user precisely reflecting the user's status, i.e., the user's intentions, visual state and physical conditions. By worn as part of an eyeglass-like or head-mount wearable unit for example, the display apparatus of the present invention enables the user to recognize visibly various images on the display unit positioned in front of the user's eyes thereby providing the picked up images, reproduced images, and received images.
