摘要： A highly precise organic electroluminescent element which can uniformly emit light, is free from cross talk, can withstand external pressure, and can be sealed in an excellent state and a method for manufacturing the element. In the organic electroluminescent element (1) which is provided between a lower electrode (3) and its counter electrode (4) on a substrate (2) with an organic layer (5) containing a light emitting layer in between, an interlayer insulating film having a coefficient of water absorption of 0.1 % is provided in a non-radiative element section and the step sections (9) of the interlayer insulating film specify the boundary between the light emitting element part and non-radiative element part. In addition, parts of the step sections (9) vertically rise from the surface of the lower electrode (3) and a sealing plate or sealing lid (7) on the interlayer insulating film is pasted to the substrate (2) via adhesive layers (8).

摘要： An organic EL display is provided which keeps dark spots from appearing in high temperature environments over a long time. A device for manufacturing an organic EL display comprises a first unit for charging a support substrate, a second unit for heating and drying the support substrate before forming an organic luminescent medium, a third unit for forming an organic luminescent medium and an upper electrode, and the fourth unit for sealing with a sealing material. 摘要： A color conversion layer is provided which is capable of converting light from an emitting medium effectively to light containing a ray having a longer wavelength and exhibits less deterioration so as to have a long lifetime. The color conversion layer comprising a fluorescent medium for converting light emitted from an emitting medium to light having a longer wavelength, and having a haze value of 50% to 95%. The color conversion layer can be made thin, since the layer can efficiently convert the color of light from an emitting medium. The processibility such as patterning thereof is then improved.
