a thermally activating apparatus comprises a main body frame (1), a thermal head (4) for heating a sheet, a first head holding member (5a) for holding the thermal head from a back portion thereof, a platen roller (2) arranged in parallel with the thermal head and paper feeding means (8a through 8c) for transporting the sheet after having been heated by the thermal head, and a second head holding member (5b) having a first support shaft (6a) in parallel with the thermal head and the holding the first head holding member pivotably by the first support shaft, wherein the second head holding member is pivotably supported by a second support shaft (6b) arranged in parallel with the thermal head and transversely hung rotatably between side walls of the main body frame and the thermal head is constituted to be able to be proximate to and remote from the platen roller by constituting centers of rotation by two shafts of the first support shaft and the second support shaft.

摘要： There is provided a thermal activator for a heat sensitive adhesive sheet capable of preventing or removing the heat sensitive adhesive and a product of denaturation of the heat sensitive adhesive from adhering to means for transporting the heat sensitive adhesive sheet and a printer apparatus utilizing the thermal activator. In a thermal activator for a heat sensitive adhesive sheet having at least heating means for activation (a thermal head 40) for heating and activating a heat sensitive adhesive layer of a heat sensitive adhesive sheet (a heat sensitive adhesive label R) constituted of a printable surface and the heat sensitive adhesive layer (K) formed on one and another side of a base material respectively and transport means (a platen roller 41 for thermal activation and the like), there is provided anti-adhesion means for preventing the heat sensitive adhesive or a product of denaturation of the heat sensitive adhesive from adhering to the transport means or removal means (a scraper 50).

摘要： Providing a thermal activation device for heat-sensitive self-adhesive sheet and a printer assembly employing the same, the device capable of thermally activating the heat-sensitive self-adhesive sheet in any of various patterns according the use thereof, and of developing at least a predetermined adhesive force on the overall surface of the sheet.
The thermal activation device at least comprises a thermal head serving as thermally-activating heating means for thermally activating a heat-sensitive adhesive layer of the heat-sensitive self-adhesive sheet including a sheet-like substrate having a printable surface on one side thereof and the heat-sensitive adhesive layer on the other side thereof, and including an array of heat generating elements individually controllably energized; and energy control means for applying one or more shots of voltage pulse to the plural heat generating elements for energization thereby thermally activating an area of the heat-sensitive self-adhesive sheet that can be thermally activated by the thermal head in one step, and is characterized in that when plural shots of voltage pulses are applied to the heat generating elements of the thermal head for thermally activating the heat-sensitive self-adhesive sheet, the energy control means can selectively change a heat generating element(s) to be energized by the voltage pulse each time the voltage pulse is applied.

The printer having a thermal head for activation (52) which heats the heat-sensitive adhesive layer to activate the same, conveying means (61) which conveys the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet in a predetermined direction, and an ejection hole for ejecting the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet out of the apparatus. Sheet holding means (70) is provided which spaces a trailing end of the heat-sensitive adhesive sheet and which holds the sheet with part of the same exposed to the outside from the ejection hole.
