摘要： A turbine (18) and a component of a turbine (18), comprising: a seal ring segment (52) including an inner surface having a track for a turbine blade defined therein and a target surface for impingement cooling positioned opposite the inner surface of the seal ring segment (52), a carrier segment (50) positioned radially outward from the seal ring (52), the carrier segment (50) including an impingement hole (120) that extends through an outer surface (138) of the carrier segment (50) and an inner surface (124) positioned opposite the outer surface (138), the inner surface (124) of the carrier segment (50) being spaced apart from and facing the target surface of the seal ring segment (52), and a source of positive pressure to move air through the impingement hole (120) into contact with the target surface of the seal ring (52), wherein the impingement hole (120) includes (i) an outer opening (140) defined in the outer surface (138) and a first inner wall extending inwardly from the outer opening (140) to define a first passageway having a first diameter, and (ii) an inner opening (142) defined in the inner surface (124) and a second inner wall extending inwardly from the inner opening to define a second passageway that is connected to the first passageway and has a second diameter that is greater than the first diameter.
