    • The invention is directed towards a sample preparation dosing unit for liquid dosing, comprising:
      a) an inlet port (5) for fluidically coupling the sample preparation dosing unit to the supply (7)
      b) an outlet port (10) for fluidically coupling the sample preparation dosing unit to the target,
      b) a pump (15), fluidically arranged between the inlet port (5) and the outlet port (10),

      d) a control arrangement with a branch (17), a control valve (25, 26) and a control flow restrictor (30) with a control flow resistance, such that
      • the flow at the outlet of the pump (15) is divided by the branch (17) into an outlet flow through the outlet flow restrictor (20) and into a control flow through the control flow restrictor (30), and the control flow downstream of the control flow resistor (25) is fed, in dependence of the state of the control valve (25),

      • or into a bypass conduit (35).


      The sample preparation dosing unit may especially be used for preparing biological samples for medical and/or chemical analysis.
