摘要： The invention relates to a switchgear cabinet or rack comprising a mounting unit, the front of which has vertical mounting sections (10, 10') that laterally delimit a cabinet frame (6) for installed user-side units (20), said sections having fixing sections (11) for attaching mounting sections (21) of the installed units (20), and comprising components of a detection device for determining the presence of an installed unit (20) in an installation position of the cabinet frame (6). The components of the detection device have a vertical detector strip (30) that is attached to a mounting section (10) and contains detector elements (38') associated with the installed positions and arranged on or in said strip and code carriers that are provided on the installed units (20), the information from said carriers being transmitted for evaluation via the detector elements (38') to a monitoring and control unit (60), either wirelessly or by wire. Clearly-represented user information is achieved for the switchgear cabinet using light elements (31) mounted on or in the detector strip (30'), said elements being associated with the installation positions and achieved by the fact that the light elements (31) can be controlled in accordance with the information in the code carriers.

In order to ensure the secure installation and reliable functioning of the detection device, each transponder element (44) is attached to the mounting section (21) of the associated installed unit (20) that adjoins the antenna strip (30) by means of a retaining element (40) via a connecting section (42) and the retaining element (40) has a support section (41) that adjoins the connecting section (42) and projects outwards, parallel to the mounting plane. The transponder element (44) is attached to the support section (41).
