    • Disclosed is a linear actuator for an active motor bearing of a motor vehicle, comprising a stator (2) with an electrically chargeable coil (5) for generating an electromagnetic field (15) and an actuating element (1) which is mounted axially displaceably relative to the stator (2). The actuating element (1) comprises a magnet armature (3) and a plunger (8), which extends in the axial direction, and is mounted in the stator (2) by means of at least one spring element (6) such that the actuating element can be axially displaced in friction-free manner when the coil (5) is supplied with current. The actuating element (1) comprises a support element (4) made of a non-magnetic light construction material, which support element extends between the magnet armature (3) and the plunger (8) in radial direction. It is advantageous to provide the magnet armature (3) only in regions in which magnetically relevant field lines (15) of the electromagnetic field of the coil (5) run.
