摘要： The device has a feed pump insertable into a tank (12) through an aperture (20). The aperture (20) is covered by a closure (22) on which there is a pressure regulator which is connected to the internal combustion engine and can be connected to a discharge chamber (12). The closure (22) has a plastic basic body (30) in which there is a depression (40) closed off by an elastic diaphragm (52) to form a pressure chamber. Into the depression (40) projects a pipe (45) which is connected to the discharge chamber (12) and the forward end (51) of which can be closed off by a flattened sphere (74) pivotably fitted in a support (70) secured to the diaphragm (52). The diaphragm (52) is clamped between a securing component (54) and the basic body (30) and the flattened part (75) of the sphere (74) is pressed against the front end (51) of the pipe (45) by a pretensioned spring (60) engaging on the diaphragm (52). When a set pressure in the pressure chamber is exceeded, the diaphragm (52) lifts off, the sphere (74) uncovers the pipe (45) and fuel can flow from the pressure chamber.

With the filter according to the invention, and the filter arrangement according to the invention, the replaceability of the filter is improved. According to the invention, the at least one detent lug (14) is disposed between two longitudinal ribs (20) and at least one removal tool (19) is provided, which with the dimensions thereof can be inserted in a depression (21) formed by the longitudinal ribs (20) and the detent lug (14).

In the liquid filter according to the invention, the pressure strength of the filter housing is substantially increased.
