    • A safety circuit arrangement for the fail-safe connection or disconnection of a hazardous installation (24) has a control device (12) which is designed to connect or interrupt, in failsafe fashion, a power supply path (20) to the installation (24). The safety circuit arrangement also has a signalling device (14) which is connected to the control device (12) via a number of lines (50, 52). The signalling device (14) has an actuator (40) which can change between a defined first state and a second state (40'). A pulse generator (42) in the signalling device (14) is designed to generate a defined pulsed signal (44) with a large number of signal pulses (46) on the lines (50, 52) when the actuator (40) is in the defined first state. According to one aspect of the invention, the signalling device (14) is connected to the control device (12) via a two-wire line (54) with a first and a second core (50, 52). A predominantly constant voltage is present between the two cores (50, 52) when the actuator (40) is in the second state. The pulse generator (42) is designed to bring about a voltage dip between the first core (50) and the second core (52) in order to generate the large number of signal pulses (46).

    • A safety switching device for fail-safe disconnecting of an electrical load (26a, 26b) has an input part (44) for receiving at least one safety relevant input signal, a logic part (50) for processing the at least one safety relevant input signal, and an output part (54) which comprises a relay coil (56) and a first relay contact (60.1), a second relay contact (62.1), a third relay contact (60.2) and a fourth relay contact (62.2). The first and the second relay contacts (60.1, 62.1) are arranged electrically in series with one another. The first and the third relay contacts (60.1, 60.2) are mechanically coupled to one another, in order to form a first group (60) of positively driven relay contacts. Likewise, the second and fourth relay contacts (62.1, 62.2) are mechanically coupled to one another, in order to form a second group (62) of positively driven relay contacts. The logic part (50) controls the first group (60) and the second group (62) redundantly, in order to selectively allow, or to interrupt in a fail-safe manner, a current flow to the electrical load (26a, 26b), depending on the at least one safety relevant input signal. The relay coil (56) is electromagnetically coupled to the first group (60) and to the second group (62) of positively driven relay contacts, such that the logic part (50) can control the relay contacts (60.1, 62.1, 60.2, 62.2) together via the one relay coil (56). Mechanically, the relay contacts (60.1, 60.2) of the first group can however move separately from the relay contacts (62.1, 62.2) of the second group.
