摘要： The disclosure relates to a sealing element made from a flexible material for sealing an annular gap between an oscillating casting pipe (10) and a fixed housing component (22) of a continuous casting die. The sealing element has a peripheral bulge (40) the convex side of which is located on the pressure side when the sealing element (36, 38, 80, 100, 102, 104, 106) is fitted. Also disclosed is a continuous casting die with an oscillating casting pipe (10), immobile housing (22) and at least one flexible sealing element for sealing an annular pressure chamber for a cooling fluid between the oscillating casting pipe and fixed housing. The flexible sealing element (36, 38, 80, 100, 102, 104, 106) is of the above mentioned type, the convex side of its peripheral bulge (40) facing the annular pressure chamber.
