    • The present invention relates to a water-based ink composition for dyeing polyamide fibers, which contains at least one kind of dye arbitrarily selected among dyes in three regions of acid dye, direct dye and reactive dye, compound represented by the following formula (1) [wherein, X 1 , X 2 , X 3 and X 4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and j, k, m and n represent numbers, the sum of which is 4 or more and 40 or less, respectively] and having an average molecular weight of 340 to 2200 and ethylene glycol, and a method for producing dyed polyamide fibers, comprising a step of applying said water-based ink composition to the polyamide fibers by using an inkjet printer. The present invention can provide a dye ink for dyeing polyamide fibers, which is excellent in discharge stability in a printer equipped with an industrial inkjet head requiring an high viscosity ink and excellent in storage stability and fixability to fibers.
