    • Provided is a method of manufacturing a band-shaped glass (2), comprising: forming, while being drawn downward, a band-shaped glass (2) having a thickness of 300 µm or less except both edge portions in a width direction thereof; and then changing a conveying direction of the band-shaped glass (2) to a lateral direction so that a front surface of both surfaces of the band-shaped glass (2) constitutes an upper surface. The band-shaped glass (2) is introduced to a region for changing the conveying direction under a curved state in which the front surface side thereof is concave in the width direction. The band-shaped glass (2) in the curved state satisfies a relationship of 0>δ≥-200 mm, where δ represents a maximum separation distance with respect to an imaginary straight line connecting both the edge portions of the band-shaped glass (2) in the width direction, provided that the maximum separation distance is positive on the front surface side of the band-shaped glass.
