摘要： The problems: The present invention aims at providing a method for controlling red mites by eliciting an immune response against them in a domestic animal, and a vaccine antigen and a vaccine against red mites that can be used therefor.

According to the present invention, an immune response specific for red mites can be elicited in a domestic animal, and red mites can be controlled by inhibiting the function of the target molecule within the red mites that has sucked the blood of the domestic animal.
