摘要： An aqueous cutting liquid comprises a cationic water-soluble resin having an amine value of 20 to 200 mgKOH/g, and at least one members of a rheology control agent selected from the group consisting of an inorganic bentonite, an organic bentonite and an aqueous silica sol, wherein the content of a nonvolatile matter of the rheology control agent is 0.1 to 30 percent by weight of the amount of the nonvolatile matter of the cationic water-soluble resin. An aqueous cutting agent comprises the aqueous cutting, and an abrasive grain, wherein the content of the abrasive grain is 100 to 1000 percent by weight of the amount of the nonvolatile matter of the aqueous cutting liquid. A hard and brittle material is cut by a cutting device using the aqueous cutting agent. The present invention provides an aqueous cutting agent which is excellent in dispersion stability of the abrasive grain and viscosity stability during cutting/cutting operations, aqueous cutting liquid usable for the aqueous cutting agent, and a cutting/cutting method excellent in cutting performance, cleanability and the like of the work material on cutting/cutting hard and brittle material by using the cutting agent.

摘要： A thermosetting composition which comprises (A) a polyhemiacetal ester resin having repeating units represented by general formula (1) (wherein R?1 and R2¿ each is a divalent organic group and Y is oxygen or sulfur) and (B) a compound having per molecule two or more reactive functional groups capable of forming a chemical bond with a carboxyl group and optionally further contains (C) an acid catalyst. It gives at a relatively low temperature a cured article excellent in chemical performance, physical performance, adhesion, smoothness, weatherability, etc., and has satisfactory storage stability. It is utilizable as the solvent-diluted type, solvent-free liquid type having an effective-ingredient content of 100 %, or powder type.

摘要： The present invention is directed to provide a heat-sensitive recording-type material for a litho printing plate, wherein an image having a high resolution can be reproduced at a high, heat-sensing responsiveness and with no phenomenon, and to provide a litho printing plate, wherein a high-quality printing can be achieved at a high resolution using the heat-sensitive recording-type material, and a process for producing the litho printing plate. In a heat-sensitive recording-type material for a litho printing plate, a litho printing plate and a process for producing the latter according to the present invention, a carboxylic compound having a functional group comprising a carboxyl group protected by a vinyl ether is used, whereby a hydrophilic surface is converted into a lipophilic and hydrophobic surface or vice verse by applying a heat during production of the plate, thereby eliminating problems associated with the prior art.

摘要： A thermosetting composition containing (A) an epoxy group-containing modified polyester polymer which consists of (a) a component comprising a carboxyl group-containing polyester resin having a number-average molecular weight of 1,500 to 50,000 and a resin acid value of 2 to 30 mgKOH/g and (b) another component comprising a polymer of a vinyl monomer having an epoxy group, in which a part of the carboxyl groups have been bonded to a part of the epoxy groups by reaction in such a manner as to give an equivalent ratio of the carboxyl groups in the component (a) to the epoxy groups in the polymer of the component (b) of 0.1 or below, and which has an epoxy equivalent of 200 to 2,000 g/mol and (B) a compound having, per molecule, two or more carboxyl groups which are blocked by a vinyl ether, vinyl thioether or heterocyclic group carrying oxygen or sulfur as the heteroatom and having a double bond of the vinyl type. 摘要： A thermosetting composition comprises (A) a compound having in the molecule two or more carboxyl groups blocked by a vinyl ether compound, a vinyl thioether compound or a hetero compound having a vinyl type double bond and oxygen or sulfur as the hetero atom, (B) a compound having in the molecule two or more reactive functional groups which can form chemical bonds with the blocked carboxyl groups, and (C) a dispersing component of at least one inorganic oxide sol selected from the group consisting of aluminium oxide sol, silica sol, zirconium oxide sol and antimony oxide sol, and optionally (D) a thermal latent acid catalyst which is activated during curing the composition by heating. A method of coating and a coated article comprise applying the composition. The obtained paint film has excellent weathering resistance, stain resistance, stain-removing property, chemical resistance, moisture resistance and excellent appearance.
