[Means for Solution] A ceramic heater 12 includes a substrate 60 and a resistor element 30 buried in the substrate 60. The resistor element 30 includes a heat-generating portion 33 formed of an electrically conductive ceramic and folded into a U-like shape, lead portions 31 joined to end portions of the heat-generating portion 33, and intermediate portions 40 located between the heat-generating portion 33 and the lead portions 31. The intermediate portions 40 are formed such that, when cross sections at arbitrary two points P 1 and P 2 along the axis XA direction are compared, both the diameter CL of an imaginary circumscribed circle CG containing cross sections of the resistor element 30 and the total cross sectional area HS of the cross sections become small in the front end side cross section as compared with those in the rear end side cross section.

摘要： To provide an optical wavelength converter and a composite optical device, each of which exhibits excellent heat dissipation property and superior optical wavelength conversion characteristics. An optical wavelength converter 1 is configured such that an optical wavelength conversion member 9 is bonded to a heat dissipation member 13 having superior heat dissipation property. Thus, heat generated by light incident on the optical wavelength conversion member 9 can be efficiently dissipated. Therefore, even when high-energy light is incident on the optical wavelength converter, temperature quenching is less likely to occur, and thus high fluorescence intensity can be maintained. An intermediate film 21 is disposed between a reflective film 19 and a bonding portion 15. The presence of the intermediate film 21 improves the adhesion between the reflective film 19 and the bonding portion 15, thereby enhancing the heat dissipation from the optical wavelength conversion member 9 to the heat dissipation member 13. Thus, the temperature quenching of the optical wavelength conversion member 9 can be prevented, thereby enhancing fluorescence intensity.

The piezoelectric ceramic composition of the present invention contains Na, Bi, Ti, Cr and O, wherein the content ratio of Na, Bi, Ti and Cr in terms of oxides thereof falls within the following composition range: a Na 2 O- b Bi 2 O 3 - c TiO 2 - d CrO where a, b, c and d are mole fractions; 0.030 ≤ a ≤ 0.042; 0.330 ≤ b ≤0.370; 0.580 ≤ c ≤ 0.620; 0 d ≤ 0.017; and a + b + c + d = 1. The piezoelectric ceramic composition preferably has a main crystal phase of bismuth layer-structured ferroelectric, more preferably Na 0.5 Bi 4.5 Ti 4 O 15 crystal. The piezoelectric element of the present invention includes a piezoelectric body formed of the piezoelectric ceramic composition and at least a pair of electrodes held in contact with the piezoelectric body.
