摘要： A communication system is provided wherein a user equipment (UE) receives control information from a wireless network. The UE monitors control channel candidates using common reference signals (CRS) and monitors enhanced control channel candidates using demodulation reference signals (DMRS) when the UE is configured in a first transmission mode, such as transmission mode 9, for receiving a downlink shared traffic channel based on DMRS. The UE monitors control channel candidates only using CRS when the UE is configured in a second transmission mode, such as any of transmission modes 1-6, for receiving a downlink shared traffic channel based on CRS. The UE then receives downlink control information (DCI) in a subframe in one of the monitored control channel candidates or enhanced control channel candidates in the subframe.

摘要： A method comprises receiving with a first bandwidth configuration at a first subframe on a first downlink channel (114) of an frequency-division duplexing (FDD) pair, and transmitting with a second bandwidth configuration at a second subframe on a first uplink channel (112) of the FDD pair. The method further comprises receiving an indicator with a third bandwidth configuration at a first subframe on a second downlink channel (404), the second downlink channel having a different carrier frequency than the channels of the FDD pair, wherein a guard band is adjacent to the second downlink channel (404) and at least one channel of the FDD pair, and determining that the indicator includes a field indicating a different bandwidth configuration for at least one channel, the at least one channel being the at least one FDD pair channel adjacent to the guard band and the second downlink channel (404), wherein the different bandwidth configuration corresponds to a reduced allocation of subcarrier resources to increase a frequency width of the guard band (418), and applying the different bandwidth configuration at a second subframe for at least one of transmitting and receiving on the at least one channel. An apparatus is also disclosed and claimed.
