    • This is to provide an ultraviolet-curable silicone resin composition which is a liquid state, excellent in coating property, and suitable for production of a thin type or large-sized image display device which can suppress occurrence of display failure, without lowering legibility, with high brightness and high contrast.
      The ultraviolet-curable silicone resin composition comprises (A) a polyorganosiloxane having a mercaptoalkyl group bonded to a silicon atom and a viscosity at 23°C of 20 to 25000 cP; (B) an organopolysiloxane having aliphatic unsaturated groups which comprises (B1) a linear polyorganosiloxane having aliphatic unsaturated groups represented by the formula (I), and (B2) a branched organopolysiloxane which comprises an SiO 4/2 unit, an R' 3 SiO 1/2 unit and an R' 2 SiO 2/2 unit, and optionally further comprises an R'SiO 3/2 unit, wherein each R' independently represents a C1-C6 alkyl group or aliphatic unsaturated group, and at least three of R' per one molecule are aliphatic unsaturated groups, provided that an amount of (B2) is an amount where a number of the aliphatic unsaturated group in (B2) based on a total number of the aliphatic unsaturated groups in (B) is 50% or less; (C) a photoinitiator; and (D) a silane compound having an aliphatic unsaturated group, where, a ratio of a number of the mercaptoalkyl groups present in (A) based on a total number of the aliphatic unsaturated groups in (B) and (D) is 0.5 to 1.05, a ratio of a number of the mercaptoalkyl groups present in (A) based on a number of the aliphatic unsaturated groups in (B) is 0.95 to 3, and a ratio of a number of the mercaptoalkyl groups present in (A) based on a number of the aliphatic unsaturated groups in (D) is 1.5 to 3, and a sealing agent for an image display device comprising the ultraviolet-curable silicone resin composition and an image display device comprising an image display portion and a protective portion being encapsulated by using the sealing agent for an image display device.

    • The present invention relates to a resin composition for electric/electronic components, comprising: (A) a polyorganosiloxane that contains a mercaptoalkyl group bonded to a silicon atom and has a viscosity at 23°C of 20 to 3,000 cP; (B) a polyorganosiloxane containing an aliphatic unsaturated group wherein the polyorganosiloxane (B) includes: (B1) a linear polyorganosiloxane represented by the formula (I) and optionally (B2) a branched polyorganosiloxane including a SiO 4/2 unit, an R' 3 SiO 1/2 unit and an R' 2 SiO 2/2 unit, and optionally further an R'SiO 3/2 unit wherein at least three R' groups per molecule of the branched polyorganosiloxane (B2) are aliphatic unsaturated groups; (C) a photoreaction initiator; (D) a chemically surface-treated silica having a BET specific surface area of 50 to 250 m 2 /g and a pH of 5.0 to 9.0; and (E) a polyoxyalkylene glycol in which an alkylene unit is a linear or branched alkylene group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms, and/or a derivative of the polyoxyalkylene glycol, wherein the ratio of the number of mercaptoalkyl groups in (A) to the total number of aliphatic unsaturated groups in (B) is 0.45 to 2.00, the content of (D) is 0.5 to 26 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of (B), the proportion of the content of (E) is 0.001 to 1.0 mass% relative to the total mass of (A) to (E), and the viscosity at 23°C is 500 to 100,000 cP.
