摘要： A variable printing machine for printing images different in top-bottom length with a plate and a blanket cylinder changed in diameter, is provided in which the plate and blanket cylinders and an impression cylinder can be brought into a proper state of contact with one another. Each of a plate cylinder shaft 20 and a blanket cylinder shaft 30 has its one axial end portion supported in a cantilever structure from a main frame 1 of the machine. Each of a plate cylinder sleeve 21 and a blanket cylinder sleeve 31 is made exchangeable. The blanket cylinder shaft 30 is made movable towards and away from the plate cylinder shaft 20. An impression cylinder 4 is made movable towards and away from the blanket cylinder shaft 30. When the plate cylinder sleeve 21 and the blanket cylinder sleeve 31 are each exchanged with one of different diameter, the blanket cylinder shaft 30 and the impression cylinder 4 are moved relative to each other so that the plate cylinder 2 and the blanket cylinder 3 may be brought into a proper state of contact with each other and so are the blanket cylinder 3 and the impression cylinder 4.

摘要： A printing cylinder assembly for a printing machine is provided, the assembly having a sleeve cylinder which can be simply coupled to and decoupled from a rotating shaft and which can be exchanged easily.
The sleeve cylinder 30 is mounted to fit on the rotating shaft 20 so that it can be fitted on, and be extracted from, the rotating shaft 20, constituting a printing cylinder (comprising a plate and a blanket cylinder 2, 3). The rotating shaft 20 is provided with a cam shaft 41 and a coupling member 42 that constitutes a coupling mechanism 40. In a coupling and a decoupling state which the coupling mechanism 40 comes into, rotations of the cam shaft 41 cause the coupling member 42 to couple and decouple the sleeve cylinder 30 to and from the rotating shaft 20 when the coupling member 42 is diametrically urged against, and parted from, the inner diametric surface of the sleeve cylinder 30, respectively. The sleeve cylinder 30 and the rotating shaft 20 can thus be simply coupled to and decoupled from each other only by rotary operations of the cam shaft 41.
