    • This invention, provides a polymeric optical waveguide film possessing excellent sliding and bending resistance and machinability. This polymeric optical waveguide film is a bendable polymeric optical waveguide film comprising a first clad layer, a second clad layer, and a core held between the first and second clad layers. This polymeric optical waveguide film has grooves provided by a cutting process. A polymeric material constituting a layer, which is located on the outside of the core when the polymeric optical waveguide film is bent and a part or the whole of which has been cut in the thickness-wise direction by the cutting operation, has a tensile modulus of not less than 0.1 GPa and less than 1 GPa as measured at room temperature using a test piece having a thickness of 0.06mm.
