    • A pigmented ink composition comprising a pigment, a resin having an acidic group and an organic solvent having a boiling point of at least 150°C which is present in an amount of from 50 to 90% by weight based on the whole weight of the ink composition. When this ink composition is subjected to an printed layer-sliding test in which the ink composition is applied on a cationically treated printing medium with a #4 bar coater (available from TOYO SEIKI KOGYO CO., LTD.)and dried and then the printed surface is slid with a cloth on which a weight of 50 g is placed, the printed record is not grazed. This ink composition contains the pigment with a small dispersion particle size and has good water resistance, can be printed on a plain paper sheet without cockling, and suffers from no grazing of printed records when the ink composition is printed on a cationically treated paper sheet.

    • An oil based pigment ink composition that excels in discharge performance at printing by means of an inkjet printer, excelling in dryability and fixability upon printing on a printing medium of low cost film, such as vinyl chloride film, having no receptive layer, and that is durable in environment of outdoor use. There is provided an oil based pigment ink composition comprising at least a pigment, a polymer compound and an organic solvent, wherein methoxybutyl acetate as the organic solvent is contained in an amount of 20 to 90 wt.% based on the whole ink composition. In particular, there is provided the oil based pigment ink composition wherein as another organic solvent a nitrogenous and/or oxygenous heterocyclic compound is contained in an amount of 1 to 50 wt.% based on the whole ink composition, and/or a (poly)alkylene glycol derivative is contained in an amount of 1 to 50 wt.% based on the whole ink composition, and provided the oil based pigment ink composition which has a flash point of ≥ 61°C, a viscosity at 25°C of 2.0 to 6.5 cp and a surface tension at 25°C of 20 to 40 mN/m.

    • An object of the present invention is to provide an oil-based pigmented ink composition which is excellent in ejection property in case of printing using an ink-jet printer and is excellent in drying property and fixing property in case of printing on a low cost printing medium such as a PVC film having no receptive layer, and also can endure outdoor environment.
      The present invention relates to an oil-based pigmented ink composition comprising at least a pigment, a polymer compound and an organic solvent, which contains, as the organic solvent, methoxybutyl acetate in an amount of 20 to 90% by weight based on the entire ink composition; and particularly to the above oil-based pigmented ink composition, which contains, as the other organic solvent, a nitrogen-containing and/or oxygen-containing heterocyclic compound in an amount of 1 to 50% by weight based on the entire ink composition and/or a (poly)alkylene glycol derivative in an amount of 1 to 50% by weight based on the entire ink composition; and to the above oil-based pigmented ink composition, which has a flash point of 61°C or higher, a viscosity of 2.0 to 6.5 cp at 25°C, and a surface tension of 20 to 40 mN/m at 25°C.

    • Provided are a flat-shaped battery that is excellent in productivity, and a method for manufacturing the battery. The flat-shaped battery of the present invention is a battery in which a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and an electrolyte solution are enclosed in a battery container provided with an outer can and a sealing plate. The positive electrode is housed in the outer can, and a porous electrolyte solution absorber is inserted between the positive electrode and an inner bottom surface of the outer can. Also, the method for manufacturing a flat-shaped battery of the present invention is a method for manufacturing a flat-shaped battery in which a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and an electrolyte solution are enclosed in a battery container provided with an outer can and a sealing plate, the method including: disposing an electrolyte solution absorber on an inner bottom surface of the outer can; disposing the positive electrode on the electrolyte solution absorber; and injecting the electrolyte solution into the outer can after disposing the electrolyte solution absorber, before disposing the positive electrode, or after disposing the positive electrode. A porous body having a porosity of 40 to 90% is used as the electrolyte solution absorber.
