    • The invention relates to a jet spinning method, in which fibres are combed from a combing cylinder (5) into individual fibres (9) and are conveyed using a suction cylinder (9) towards a fibre transport channel (15), from which the fibres are directed towards the opening of a yarn channel of a hollow spindle (13). The front ends of the fibres are received in the yarn channel (14), while the rear ends are captured by a rotating air stream (R) and are twisted around the opening area of the spindle or yarn channel, in such a way that a yarn is created which has at least one surface with the characteristics of a ring-spun yarn. The invention is characterized in that the fibres are separated, during the transition from the combing roller (5) to the suction cylinder, by an abrupt change of direction against the metal guide sheets (8 and 17), from trash particles which cannot change direction abruptly as a result of mass inertia. This occurs in such a way that said trash particles, which cause interruptions to the spinning in the area between the outlet of the fibre transport channel (15) and the inlet of the yarn channel (14) are eliminated in a timely manner before reaching the inlet to the fibre transport channel.

    • In order to produce a spun yarn (4) from a loose fiber assembly (2), devices are used in which a whirling chamber (3) is provided between a fiber supply channel (1) and yarn draw-off channel (5). A fluid is blown into the whirling chamber (3). In order to guide the fibers or fiber areas (8) swirling in the whirling flow, this device comprises, inside the whirling chamber (3), a guide surface (20), which delimits the whirling chamber (3) downstream and which extends in a collar-like manner around the entry opening (11) of the yarn draw-off channel (5). The guide surface (20) forms an angle (α) of at least 30° (preferably 40-90°) with the axis of the yarn draw-off channel (5) in the direction of yarn draw-off, and outer areas of this guide surface (20) are located at a distance from the entry opening of the yarn draw-off channel (5) that corresponds to at least one-tenth (preferably at least one-sixth) of the effective stacking length of fibers to be processed. Less fiber friction on walls occurs in the inventive device whereby making the imparting of twist more efficient and enabling the production of yarns of a quality which is higher than that of yarns produced using prior art devices.

    • The invention relates to a spinning device, which, according to the invention, differs from the state of the art in fig. 1 as per fig. 2. According to the state of the art the fibres, introduced by means of a fibre supply channel (13), (compacting by light twisting), are guided to a spindle (6), in rotation around the tip of a needle (5) in a yarn guide channel and thus compacted, said rotation occurs as a result of an airflow generated by the nozzles (3). The tip of the needle (5) has the purpose of guiding the fibre and of avoiding a false twist returning up the fibre supply channel such that, for example, a knot occurs on a feed roller pair as a result of the twist in the fibres, as such a knot can at least affect the formation of the thread if not stop the same. According to the invention in fig. 2, no needle tip is aligned with the opening of a yarn supply channel (45), rather a fibre outlet slope (29) is provided by means of which the fibres are guided into an opening of the thread guide channel in an open, essentially flat state lying adjacent to each other. A false twist is thus avoided on a fibre guide surface (28) of a fibre supply element (27) and, due to the close proximity of the fibre outlet slope (29) to the opening of the yarn guide channel and said open state, a distinct yarn guidance occurs which permits a better control of the transfer from the fibre guide channel (28) into the opening of the said yarn guide channel. The nozzles (21) are set such that for reasons of an injector effect, supply air is sucked through the fibre supply channel (28) and an air vortex is generated in a vortex chamber (2) which rotates the rear ends of fibres around themselves, the front ends of which are already in the yarn supply channel (45), such that a yarn is produced with characteristics very similar to those of a ring spun yarn.
