      To provide a simple and efficient method for producing a hydroxyl group-containing vinyl ether polymer, without the need of a removal step of low boiling point impurities such as residual monomers and initiator residues and polyacetal, or the like, by improving the monomer conversion rate while reducing the amount of a polymerization initiator to be used, and suppressing generation of polyacetal.
      [Means for solving problem]
      A method for producing a hydroxyl group-containing vinyl ether polymer according to the present invention comprises:
      a step of radical polymerizing at least one vinyl ether selected from vinyl ether having a hydroxyl group represented by the following formula (2):

      wherein R 7 represents an alkylene group which is straight-chained, branched or comprises an alicyclic structure, and p is 1, 2, or 3,
      in the presence of water as a polymerization solvent and an azo compound represented by the following formula (1) as a polymerization initiator:

      wherein R 1 to R 4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group and R 5 and R 6 each independently represent an alkoxy group optionally having a substituent group or an alkyl amino group optionally having a substituent group.
    • 本发明提供一种简单且有效的含羟基乙烯基醚聚合物的制造方法,不需要除去残留单体,引发剂残渣,聚缩醛等低沸点杂质的工序, 单体转化率,同时减少使用的聚合引发剂的量,并抑制聚缩醛的产生。 [解决问题的手段]本发明的含羟基乙烯基醚聚合物的制造方法包括:将选自下述式(2)所示的具有羟基的乙烯基醚中的至少一种乙烯基醚自由基聚合的工序 )表示的偶氮化合物:其中R7表示在作为聚合溶剂的水存在下直链,支化或包含脂环结构且p为1,2或3的亚烷基和由下式 1)作为聚合引发剂:其中R 1至R 4各自独立地表示氢原子或烷基,并且R 5和R 6各自独立地表示任选具有取代基的烷氧基或任选具有取代基的烷基氨基。

The process includes a vinyl ether-based star polymer having arms containing a copolymer of a vinyl ether-based polymer and an oxystyrene-based polymer, and a process for production of the vinyl ether-based star polymer, containing: subjecting a vinyl ether-based monomer to living cationic polymerization in the presence of an initiating species, a Lewis acid that is suitable for cationic polymerization of the vinyl ether-based monomer, and a solvent; then subjecting an oxystyrene-based monomer to living cationic polymerization with a Lewis acid that is suitable for cationic polymerization of the oxystyrene-based monomer added thereto; adding a divinyl compound to introduce a vinyl group to a side chain; and forming a core through intermolecular crosslinking with the vinyl group.
