    • A melt spinning apparatus that prevents filaments passing through an unstable area from contacting one another. In a melt spinning method for thinning and solidifying each molten filament F ejected from a plurality of nozzles to obtain a yarn Y comprising a plurality of filaments F, each filament F being thinned is charged to the same polarity, and when the plurality of filaments F are assembled together, charge is eliminated from them. In a melt spinning apparatus 11 having an unstable area A generated necessarily bring the rapid thinning of each filament F between a spinning pack 2a of an ejecting device 2 located above and a filament converging portion B located below, a charging device 12 is provided that charges each filament F to the same polarity between the spinning pack 2a and an inlet Aa of the unstable area A; also, a static eliminating device 13 is provided that eliminates charge from each filament F between an outlet Ab of the unstable area A and the filament converging portion B.

    • The first object of the present invention is to provide a traverse device (1) wherein a traverse guide (41) can be transferred at high speed by detecting the position or the speed of the traverse guide precisely. The second object of the present invention is to provide a traverse device capable of changing the turning position easily without using complicated mechanism and of accomplishing the speeding up of the traverse without carrying out the rotation of the electric motor in both forward and backward directions. According to the present invention, the traverse device (1) for traversing the yarn guided by a traverse guide (41) comprises a plurality of piezoelectric elements (2a, 2b, 2c ....) arranged in the traverse direction over the entire traverse range where the yarn is to be traversed, an elastic body (3) deforming by the strain of the piezoelectric elements, and an alternately moving body (4) transferring in the traverse direction by the strain of the elastic body (3), provided in the elastic body (3) capable of transferring in the traverse direction, without being displaced from the elastic body substantially. The traverse guide (41) transfers in the traverse direction accompanying the transferring of the alternately moving body (4) (Fig. 1).

    • The present invention relates to a carriage system such as an overhead running vehicle system comprising stop positions (8) provided along routes (4, 6). An optical mark (10) is placed in front of each stop position (8) to notice an overhead running vehicle (20) the ID tag data of which are to be read. A barcode reader (24) reads the ID tag data to determine the stop position based on a mark reference. The absolute position of an overhead running vehicle (20) with respect to a mark (14) is determined. The overhead running vehicle (20) decelerates and stops at a target position. According to the present invention the overhead running vehicle (20) can stop without creep running (Fig. 1).
