摘要： A business form (10) uses a dual label construction to advantage, particularly in association with express delivery forms. A first sheet of paper (11) has a first face (12) with indicia (13, 14, 15) and a second face with a first pressure sensitive adhesive system. A second sheet (21), substantially the same size and shape as the first sheet (11), has a first face, and a second face with a second pressure sensitive adhesive systems. The adhesive systems preferably are alternating strips of pressure sensitive adhesive and release material, with small gaps between them, so that when the second faces are placed in face-to-face engagement with each other they will separate, providing adhesive on each of the second faces. The second sheet (21) may be a substantially transparent plastic such as polyester, which may be placed over the first sheet (11), to protect it, after the first sheet (11) has been adhered to a surface (e.g. a package for express delivery). The adhesive systems may be UV or corona treated to cure the release material strips and modify the tackiness of the adhesive. Alternatively, the second sheet (21) first face also has indicia on it, and a number of perforations separating it into individual labels, e.g., each with bar coding. The first sheet (11) first face (12) may have a carbonless coating, and a third, and additional, sheets with cooperating carbonless coatings may be provided operatively connected over the first sheet (11).

摘要： A transfer tape (30) having a self-imaging liner (13) includes a first polyethylene coating or film layer (17) on a first face (14) of the self-imaging liner (13) with a first silicone coating (22) over the first polyethylene coating or film layer (17) and a pressure sensitive adhesive (24) on the first silicone coating (22). A release sheet is provided between the second face (15) of the self-contained carbonless sheet (11) and is covered with a second sprayed on polyethylene coating, or film layer (26), in turn covered by a second silicone coating (28). The transfer tape (30) may be in roll configuration with the adhesive (24) engaging the second silicone coating (28). The first silicone coating (22) may be a differential coating and applied at a weight of about 3-10 grams per square meter. The adhesive (24) may be a hot melt adhesive or adhesive from a pre-wound tape. A business form may be constructed of a face stock and the transfer tape (30), the transfer tape pressure sensitive adhesive (24) engaging the face stock, and labels may be die cut out of the business form. A CB coating (42) may also be provided on the second silicone coating (28), to overlie a CF coating (43). The method of making transfer tape (30) of the invention is simple yet effective.
