摘要： According to the present invention, in order to laminatedly stock the papers discharged from the paper-discharging port (2) formed above the manual paper-supply port (1) so that they may be easily taken out from the front of the apparatus, the paper-discharging passage (20) extending in the up and down direction for going the paper discharged from the paper-discharging port round the front of the body of image-forming apparatus to guide it downward and the paper-discharging tray (41) extending over the internal space of the deck below the paper-discharging passage are provided. In order to easily conduct the mounting and removal of the paper-discharging tray (41) and the assembly of the iamge-forming apparatus, the paper-discharging tray is mounted on a rolled paper-supply unit (6) provided in front of the body of image-forming apparatus. In addition, in order to prevent the phenomenon that the corner portions on both sides of the paper are bent during the time when it is being supplied and the phenomenon that the paper is supplied again during the time when it is being discharged from the paper-discharging port formed above the manual paper-supply port from occurring, a paper-supply and discharging guide is provided between the manual paper-supply port and the paper-discharging port.

摘要： An image forming apparatus has a main body (10) to which is attached a device (12) for cutting paper from a roll and discharging the cut paper through an outlet. The cutting device is selectively shiftable to a feed position where the outlet (110) is in register with a sheet inlet (28) on the main body or to a standby position away from the feed position. The invention also provides a roll paper cutting device for transporting and cutting roll paper having detecting means (270) disposed in the path of transport of documents for detecting a document rear end so as to cut the paper with timing based on the time when the rear end is detected. There is also provided a roll paper cutting device adapted to drive transport rollers with predetermined timing based on the time when the paper travel is detected while all the transport rollers rotate idly in a standby state for paper feeding. Finally, a roll paper cutting device is provided for feeding roll paper to the main body of an image forming apparatus by forwarding the leading end of the paper to feed means (22) disposed in said main body in the paper path to the image forming station, and thereafter transporting the paper onwards by the transport means within the main body.
