摘要： A toner cartridge (25) for an image forming apparatus includes a toner storage unit (30) having two flexible stirring rods (44, 45) disposed therein. Two tapered bearing portions (36, 37) disposed on a first side wall (34) of the toner storage unit (30) extend partially into the first side wall (34) without piercing the first side wall (34), and two bearing portions (40, 41) on a second side wall (35) extend completely through the second side wall (35). First ends (48, 55) of each of the stirring rods (44, 45) are tapered and fit into the tapered bearing portions (36, 37) on the first side wall (34) of the toner storage unit (30). Second ends (49, 56) of the stirring rods (44, 45) extend through the bearing portions (40, 41) of the second side wall (35) of the toner storage unit (30). Flange members (50, 57) are disposed on the second ends (49, 56) of the stirring rods (44, 45), and a seal (51, 58) is interposed between each flange member (50, 57) and the second side wall (35).
