摘要： A powdered air respirator (10) designed to provide respiratory, eye and face protection and comprises a hardhat (11), a shell member (20) secured to the hardhat and spaced therefrom to form a generally dome-shaped passageway therebetween, air filtering means (30) in the passageway between the shell member and the hardhat, a face shield assembly (35) attached to and depending from the front of the shell member, a transparent face shield (60) in said face shield assembly, face sealing means (65) on the peripheral edge of said face shield assembly to seal against a user's face from temple to temple provided with air exits adjacent each temple and an air circulating means (70) located in the rear portion of the passageway between the shell member and the hardhat for directing a flow of air through the passageway, air filtering means, interior of the face shield assembly and out through the air exits.

摘要： Respirateur a ventilation mecanique (10) concu de maniere a assurer la protection du visage des yeux et des fonctions respiratoires et comprenant un casque (11), un organe de coquille (20) fixe au casque et espace de celui-ci de maniere a former un pas generalement en forme de dome, des moyens (30) de filtration d'air dans le passage entre l'organe de coquille et le casque, un ensemble formant visiere (35) fixe a la partie frontale de l'organe de coquille et dependant de celui-ci, un ecran formant visiere (60) transparent dans ledit ensemble formant visiere, des moyens (65) d'etancheite avec le visage sur le bord peripherique dudit ensemble formant visiere pour former un joint d'etancheite entre les tempes de l'utilisateur, pourvus d'orifices de sortie d'air a proximite de chaque tempe et un moyen (70) de circulation d'air situe dans la partie posterieure du passage entre l'organe de coquille et le casque servant a diriger un jet d'air au travers du passage, des moyens de filtration d'air, a l'interieur de l'ensemble formant visiere et a l'exterieur au travers des orifices de sortie d'air.
