Reading and reproduction of multimedia data recorded in the next optical disk mounted in the second optical disk drive are started immediately after the reading of the multimedia data recorded in the optical disk in the first optical disk drive is completed. Therefore, it is possible to continuously reproduce the multimedia data without interruption due to exchange of the optical disks.
