摘要： The present invention relates to a radiation thermometer for measuring temperature of the eardrum at noncontact. The thermometer comprises a signal processor 4 for calculating a temperature from an output of a light receptor 17, which receives only the infrared rays radiated directly from the eardrum and/or vicinity of it, and notification means 18 for notifying the temperature resulted from the calculation. Since the structure does not receive an influence of any radiant heats from other than those of the eardrum and/or vicinity of it, temperature change of a probe 1 does not become a factor of measuring errors, so as to offer an accurate measurement of temperatures. An infrared-ray-receiving element is positioned within a triangle configured by an intersection between a light path and an optical axis, and two image points of hypothetical end points formed by an optical condenser, when viewed in a cross sectional plane including the optical axis of the optical condenser, where (a) the light path is a path that extends from the hypothetical end point to the image point of the hypothetical end point formed by the optical condenser by passing through a rim of the optical condenser on the same side as the hypothetical end point with respect to the optical axis, and (b) the hypothetical end point is a point at which a straight line drawn from the rim of the optical condenser toward the probe in a manner to be tangent to an inner surface of the probe on the same side as the rim of the optical condenser with respect to the optical axis crosses a plane at a tip of the probe.

摘要： A communication system (1) for information of medical doctor's questions to patients includes a terminal apparatus (10) for medical doctor, a terminal apparatus (20) for patient, and a database server apparatus (30) for storing question sets for medical doctor's questions to patients, which are connected through a communication network (50). The terminal apparatus (20) for patient generates question programs for making inquiries about medical doctor's questions to patients in accordance with the question sets received from the database server apparatus (30), displays the questions for medical doctor's questions to patients by execution of the generated question programs, enters answer data to the displayed questions, transmits the entered answer data to the database server apparatus, and stores the transmitted answer data in the database server apparatus (30). The terminal apparatus (10) for medical doctor receives the stored answer data by accessing the database server apparatus (30), and displays the received answer data thereon.

摘要： A thermometer for measuring a body temperature by using infrared rays and on the basis of a measuring method in which a measurement error fluctuates depending upon the length of the measuring time including computation time. The measuring time is calculated on the basis of a required measurement error, so that a temperature can be measured in a suitable time corresponding to a required allowable error. A probe is formed of a porous structure so as to improve the heat insulating effect thereof, and an auxiliary adapter is provided to permit the thermometer to be fitted better in the earhole in spite of an individual difference in size thereof with the function of reporting a relative ovulation date based on a desired delivery date also incorporated in the thermometer.

摘要： It is an object of the present invention to desirably induce a user's gaze onto a keyboard or numeral buttons when data is directly inputted from the keyboard or the numeral buttons. In order to attain this object, a data input apparatus 10 according to the present invention includes: a first operating means 1 for directly inputting at least either of numerical data and character data; a second operating means 2 for executing an operation except a direct input of numerical data and character data; and an inducing means 5 for inducing a user's gaze onto the first operating means by having a blinking operation accompanied when a data input is started by the first operating means. When a data input is started by the first operating means 1, the inducing means 5 blinks on and off an induction mark 3c which expresses the shape of the first operating means 1 and the direction in which the first operating means 1 is located.

摘要： A medical checkup network system includes a patient terminal (1) for measuring the biodata of each patient including a blood pressure and a body temperature, a doctor terminal (2) for allowing the medical staff to view the biodata of each patient for diagnosis and enter a medical support data including a schedule data and an advice data, and a center server (3) for storing the data received from the those terminals. They are connected to each other over a communication network (4) such as the Internet. In the system, the biodata of each patient stored in the center server (3) can be registered and viewed by any of the patient terminal (1), the doctor terminal (2), the patient and the medical staff, those having been registered in the center server. The system can thus protect the privacy of each patient about the biodata and permit the biodata of each patient to be shared by two or more members of the medical staff.
