摘要： A filter element for a vehicle for filtering ambient air, the filter element comprising a surface for receiving raw air on an upstream side, and a counter surface for releasing filtered air on a downstream side, the filter element impinging a pressure loss across the sides, and wherein the air permeability is in the range from 800 L/m 2 s to 7000 L/m 2 s. An ambient air treatment system for a vehicle, a vehicle, and a cooling system for a vehicle comprising said filter element. A method for producing a filter element, comprising: defining boundary conditions comprising element geometry boundary conditions and filter media boundary conditions; computing a pressure loss for a plurality of different virtual filter elements selected from within the boundary conditions; selecting a subset of the plurality of virtual filter elements for which a pressure loss is within a predetermined range of speed or a variable that is derivable therefrom, wherein each filter element is characterized by a filter parameter set comprising element geometry parameters, filter media parameters, pressure loss, and pressure loss; selecting one virtual filter element of the subset, retrieve the properties of the one virtual filter element and electing a filter media having properties of about the one virtual filter element; and producing a filter element having the geometry of about the one virtual filter element.

摘要： System, vehicle connected to system, and method for cleaning fluid, the system comprising: an air channel comprising an intake and an outlet; a receptacle configured to receive a filter, so that the filter when installed in the receptacle is in the stream of an airflow when air is flowing through the air channel; an airflow control device for influencing a filter airflow which is portion of the airflow that passes the filter; a controlling circuit for controlling the airflow control device in accordance with pre-determined control parameters; and an electronic processing circuit configured to: determine a filter usage value of the filter and store the filter usage value to historical data in a memory, by a microprocessor and based on the historical data, generate adjusted control parameters to drive the airflow control device, wherein the adjusted control parameters are to reduce or increase an average loading rate of the filter such that a pre-determined filter load is achieved within a pre-determined tolerance of a pre-determined next maintenance time.
