    • The invention relates to a calibration method for an electro-hydraulic motor vehicle braking system. The braking system comprises a piston for building up a hydraulic pressure in the braking system, a first actuator having an electric motor, and a second actuator having a brake pedal interface. The first actuator and the second actuator are both able to operate the piston, a first sensor detecting a change in state of the first actuator and a second sensor detecting a change in state of the second actuator. The calibration method begins with activation of the electric motor in order to operate the piston by means of the first actuator, the second actuator following the piston operation. During the piston operation, a first signal generated by the first sensor, which permits a conclusion to be drawn about an extent of the piston operation, and a second signal generated by the second sensor are detected. Following that, calibration of the first signal is carried out on the basis of the second signal, or vice versa.
