摘要： This invention discloses a forming method for multiple access code with zero correlation window in code division multiple access communication system. First, transform an N bits length spread spectrum code with period auto-correlation ideal function to an orthogonal group of spread spectrum code. Then, according to the required width of zero correlation window, expand each code's length to N+2*(width of zero correlation window) bits long. The expanded code is used for spread operation, and the non-expanded code is used for de-spread operation. Therefore, the code division multiple access system is without ISI completely, and the MAI is greatly decreased.

摘要： A reverse synchronization method, which is used in a wireless system utilizing orthogonal spreading codes with Interference Free Window characteristic, wherein the transmission time of the signal from a remote unit is adjusted with respect to a predetermined Interference Free Window [-n, +n], such that the arrival time in a base station of the signal from the said remote unit falls within the said predetermined Interference Free Window. This eliminates inter-symbol interferences and multiple access interferences when multipath signals from a same remote unit and signals from different remote units arrive within an Interference Free Window.

摘要： This invention discloses a coding method of spreading spectrum multiple access codes in the area of any wireless communications system that involves CDMA and spreading spectrum technology. It uses two orthogonal, synchronous fading channels to transmit two pairs of multiple access spreading codes respectively. These two pairs of spreading codes oppose each other but also complement each other in the transmission so that their correlation has a property of zero correlation window, i.e. the auto-correlation and cross-correlation functions have no side lobes within the zero correlation window. That means that ISI and MAI will be completely eliminated in the corresponding CDMA and spreading spectrum system, so that makes it possible to build a wireless digital communications system of large RF capacity and solve the more severe contradictions between the resource of frequency efficiency and RF capacity.

摘要： This invention describes a method for adapting the radio channel to the radio propagation conditions of different mobile terminal under an IFW wireless system. This is achieved by assigning different Interference Free Windows to different mobile terminals. This invention provides a method for supporting one of more IFW within the cell location and thus allowing the air interface to support mobile terminals with different IFW requirements. This invention also describes the IFW selection procedure to be performed during call setup and the IFW handoff procedure that is performed when the network determines that the IFW of the mobile terminal should be changed during a call or a data session. These two procedures allow the dynamic adaptation of IFW so that the channel can be dynamically adapted to the changing propagation behavior of the mobile terminals.

摘要： In accordance with the present invention, a method is provided for a mobile station to select one cell site in a plurality of cell sites in the cellular systems with Interference Free Window. This method is based on measurement of the signal on the downlink. In preferred embodiments, a mobile station receives the downlink spread spectrum signals from a plurality of neighboring cells. By using a RAKE type correlator or matched filter, the signal energy and the multipath delay spread profile can be estimated at the mobile station. A new function is defined as the ratio of the multipath delay spread to the energy of the received signal. Minimizing the said function will result in a cell site that provides the best quality of service in a multipath propagation environment.
