摘要： The present invention relates to a device for reproducing a 3D image, and provides a 3D image reproduction device capable of selecting a 3D mode for a 3D image, comprising: a formatting unit which generates and transmits 3D image data for an inputted image signal; a mode input unit which receives the selection from a user for a 3D mode that the user wants to reproduce; and a user input processor which enables the formatting unit to generate the 3D image data in the 3D mode that is inputted from the user. Preferably, the invention further comprises a display unit on which the received 3D image data is displayed, and the formatting unit generates the 3D image data in each 3D mode for the inputted image signal, and transmits the generated data to the display unit so that the data is displayed on each predetermined regions which are set by each 3D mode. Selectively, the invention further comprises a memory unit for storing the 3D image data according to each 3D mode which is generated by the formatting unit. Preferably, the memory unit is configured for integration into the formatting unit. More preferably, the formatting unit displays the 3D image data which is inputted from the user and generated in each 3D mode, on the overall screen of the display unit. Therefore, the invention can improve the convenience of usage for the user by quickly confirming and setting a 3D mode which is appropriate for an inputted 3D image signal.

摘要： A stereoscopic image reproduction device for providing a 3D user interface includes a UI generator which generates a user interface, a depth information processor which generates a 3D depth for the user interface, and a formatting unit which generates a 3D user interface for the user interface by using the 3D depth. The depth information processor may be integrated with the formatting unit. Various factors used to generate 3D depth perception include at least any one of blur, textual gradient, linear perspective, shading, color, brightness, and chroma, which results in a 3D-type user interface (UI) being shown on a stereoscopic image display.

摘要： The present invention provides a stereoscopic image reproducing apparatus which provides a user interface (UI) appropriate for a 3D image signal, comprising: a user interface generating unit which generates the user interface; a UI-scaling unit which scales the generated UI in accordance with the mode of the 3D image signal; a first storage unit which stores the scaled UI together with a first position value; a second storage unit which copies the UI stored in the first storage unit, and stores the copied UI together with a second position value in accordance with the mode of the 3D image signal; and an integrated storage unit which integrates the UIs stored in the first storage unit and in the second storage unit in accordance with the position value of each of the UIs, and stores the integrated UIs. Preferably, the UI-scaling unit performs a downscaling process for reducing the generated UI in the horizontal direction when the 3D image signal has a side-by-side mode. In addition, the UI-scaling unit preferably performs a downscaling process for reducing the generated UI in the vertical direction when the 3D image signal has a top-down mode. The present invention thereby provides a user interface which causes no distortion in a stereoscopic image display.
