摘要： A linkage for use in reclining furniture may include a back bracket (62) supported by forward and rear back pivot links (66, 58). The bottom of the rear back pivot link (58) may be pivotally coupled to a rear lift link (48) and the bottom of the forward back pivot link (66) may be pivotally coupled to the rear lift link (48) in a different location. A control link (72) may be pivotally coupled on one end to one of the forward back pivot link (66) and the rear back pivot link (58). The control link (72) may pull the pivoting linkage of the back bracket (62) and the forward and back pivot links (66, 58) as the overall linkage is moved from a closed to a TV to a full-recline position. The resulting pivot point for the back is projected upwardly and forwardly, to a point where an upholstered back and seat meet on a finished chair.

摘要： A blocker linkage for use in selectively locking a glider-recliner is provided. The glider-recliner is operable to move between closed, TV and full-recline positions. The blocker linkage includes a glide bracket (14) having front and rear glide links (16, 18) pivotably coupled thereto. The rear glide link (18) has a blocker pin (22) coupled to it that extends outwardly. A carrier link (20) is pivotably coupled to the bottoms of the front and rear glide links (16, 18). A rear blocker cam (30) is pivotably coupled to the carrier link (20). Similarly, a front blocker cam (24) is also pivotably coupled to the carrier link (20). The rear blocker cam (30) and the front blocker cam (24) are operably coupled to cooperatively engage the blocker pin (22) on the rear glide link (18) when the glider-recliner is moved from the closed position to the TV and full-recline positions, preventing movement of the rear glide link (18) and thus the gliding movement supported by the carrier link (20).
