摘要： A cylinder cleaning apparatus for a printing press includes a cleaning cloth (7), a plate (20), and an air cylinder (28) and a piston rod (29). The cleaning cloth (7) is brought into contact with the circumferential surface of a blanket cylinder (1) to wipe a foreign matter on the circumferential surface of the blanket cylinder (1). The plate (20) is arranged to oppose the circumferential surface of the blanket cylinder (1) through the cleaning cloth (7), is deformed in accordance with a radius of curvature of the circumferential surface of the blanket cylinder (1), and has a reaction force against the circumferential surface of the blanket cylinder (1). The air cylinder (28) and the piston rod (29) press the plate (20) against the circumferential surface of the blanket cylinder (1), thereby bringing the cleaning cloth (7) into contact with the circumferential surface of the blanket cylinder (1) at a predetermined contact pressure.
