    • A drive unit for automotive applications, specifically for application with or in combination with a motor vehicle door lock, a housing (5), a motor (1) as well as an associated motor shaft (2), and with at least one spring element (6) generating an axial force at one end of the motor shaft (2), with the spring element (6) being located in at least one receptacle (7, 8) in the housing (5).
